Tefal ActiFry Family Express Review

The Tefal ActiFry Family Express Air Fryer is a top end, low fat, healthy fryer which, as the name suggests, cooks a family sized amount of food in one go - up to 8 portions. The fryer is ideal for chips, sausages, chicken, fish, stir fried vegetables, onion rings, and much more. It has a number of practical features, including electronic temperature control and automatic stirring with dual motion technology.

The ActiFry Family Express is available in two colours - Black (pictured) and White. It was tested with one spoonful of oil and managed to cook homemade chips with only 3% fat. It also cooks up to 30% faster than the ActiFry Original. One useful feature is the 99 minute timer which emits an audible sound when it reaches zero. • Automatic Stirring Paddle - To keep the food moving to ensure an even cook, there's an automatic stirring paddle. It uses dual motion technology for a more thorough stir.
• Speed - When tested against the ActiFry Original, the ActiFry Family Express cooks up to 30% faster.
• Timer - The ActiFry Family Express has a 99 minute timer with an audible alarm.
• Pause - If the lid is opened during cooking, the ActiFry will stop automatically, and resume once the lid is closed without interrupting the cycle.
• Dishwasher Safe Parts - The pan, stirring paddle and lid can all be washed in a dishwasher for an easy clean.
• Mobile App - There's a free "My ActiFry" mobile App which offers hundreds of recipes that can be used in conjunction with this fryer.
